Haven Honoria

Backstory

I am the first half-blood of the Honoria family. My father, named Markus, who died in the battle at Hogwarts (he was a Hogwarts express driver) was a wizard. My mother, Iris, however, is a seamstress and owns a laundromat. When I was first sorted, I was a hatstall. He couldn't decide Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, which would have been a first because my father's bloodline were all Ravenclaw (other than the occasional slytherin). In the end, I willed to be Ravenclaw to make father proud. I'll never regret that decision now that he's gone.

At first I thought charms would be my favorite class, but I ended up favoring care of magical creatures. Potions are my weakest subject, and even now I despise it. Transfiguration was one of my worst too, but I'be taken to it much easier now.

I've always admired Newt Scamander, and because of that I want to be a magizoologist, and aspire to teach care for magical creatures eventually. I've been told I should be a journalist due to my ability to "chase after an answer" and speak my mind. Never mind all that, though, because mother has taught me my dreams are greater than what others think I should do.

I also have an ability to ramble, and I can sympathize with others so that's how I best make friends. That's probably why the hat thought Hufflepuff. I try to get along with everyone, and some might think me passive, but I've simply learned the art of holding my tongue when necessary.
