Jamie Everly

Backstory

Jamie Marie Everly was born on October 31, 2003 to Charles and Marie Everly. She was raised in a relatively large house with her three brothers, Nick, James, and Colin who were all very protective of their "baby sister". Everyone in her family has been in Griffyndor a standard she and her brothers were expected to uphold.
Growing up she loved playing quidditch, specifically chaser, with her older brothers. She always found comfort in reading any good book but her favorite were always those that could teach her something. Another favorite pastime was exploring the woods behind her house. She would trek around in the woods looking for animals and herbs. Jamie was always a firm believer in the phrase you do you and she could often be found reading a copy of her favorite magazine, the Quibbler.
Her mother noticed these things, and they only became more pronounced as she grew older.
Soon as the years passed by her brothers went off to Hogwarts and sure enough they to were sorted into Griffyndor. Jamie was now 11 and getting more excited as the days went by. She couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts and join her brothers in Gryffindor. Her mother however knew that Jamie was never going to be in Griffyndor. She was different she always had been. Yes she was brave but she wanted to learn. She wanted to be different. Different to her was normal. She watched as the days went by and September 1st, grew ever closer. Jamie continued to be different, to be herself. Her father still thought she would be in Griffyndor because what good Everly wasn't, but her mother still suspected another house for her darling daughter.
Finally the day arrived and all the Everly children were boarding the Hogwarts Express. James her favorite brother dragged her into a compartment with his friend in which she sat down and began the task of reading all of her first year text books for the fifth time.
"What are you a Ravenclaw?" her brother asked. Little did he know what was to come.
Upon arriving at the Great Hall Jamie continued to grow more and more excited about the seven years to come. when her name was called she skipped up to the front of the hall and plopped down on the stool. The sorting hat was placed on her head and it covered her eyes.
She argued with the hat to put her in Griffyndor but it seems the hat had other plans for little Jamie Everly. It answered her pleas with the answer she hoped she would not hear.
