Backstory

I first got my Hogwarts letter about two weeks before my eleventh birthday. It was a proud day for my family and I. My dad talked all about the cool spells I would learn. My mom just smiled and said she never thought she would have two wizards in her family. I would miss New York, but I couldn't wait to explore England. My dad took me to Diagon Alley. We met with some of his old friends and their children. There was Phyllis, who was going to her second year. She was in Hufflepuff with me! Then there was Tiana and Thomas, twins, who were first years with me. We went together too pick out a pet. I picked a lovely Barn Owl. I named him Artemis. My father then took me to 9 3/4, and off I went, to Hogwarts!
