Katrina Locke

Backstory

Katrina Locke is a Halfblood Slytherin student. It took a minute for the Sorting Hat to choose because it was also considering Ravenclaw as well. Kat's favorite class was Potions, but Transfiguration was pretty fun, too. Herbology was particularly difficult as Kat was not very good at keeping the plants alive. Kat, being a Slytherin, had some difficulties. When she was first sorted into Slytherin, she was pleased, as she read about the houses, and heard some stuff about them from her father, a Hufflepuff, and felt a great attachment to Slytherin. Of course, that feeling was short-lived. She heard people from multiple tables booing her, and she ran off towards her table is silent tears, as the Head Girl comforted her. Katrina was in the same year as Harry & the others, and since she wasn't a Pureblood, and was in Dumbledore's army, she didn't have the favoritism most of Slytherin had. When McGonagall sent the Slytherins away, Kat had the bright idea of helping the young wizards to the Slytherin common room, as it would be the least damaged. When Kat graduates, she hopes to be a Potions teacher, and head of Slytherin House. Katrina has been known to hex some student, either by helping other students, or by using them to help herself. In her first year, Kat had a cat named Zedd, which died of old age. When he died, she got a barn owl named Soren. Kat's mother, a muggle, works at Eeylops Owl Emporium, only being able to work there because of her wizard relations and she didn't need magical skill to work there, as she only feeds and takes care of the animals.
