Backstory

When I was about 8 or 9, I went looking into a dark forest. How foolish I was, to go chasing and hunting after a unicorn knowing what was my fate. I got quite deep into that forest and got tired of running so I took a break. After a while, I realized that the unicorn was to far away for me to find it and I was to deep in the forest to go back. I didn't know what I was against. After I was finished scolding myself for not being clever, I heard voices. Voices that seemed familiar. No, it was not my mum or dad, it was the Dark Lord. I froze. I didn't know what to do. I slowly started to walk back from the noise. Suddenly, I stepped on a stick and made a huge rattle. The Dark Lord stopped talking. He came toward me. I quickly hid behind the bushes but it was no use. He'd seen me. I knew that I had to do something. I got up, just a few inches away for Voldemort. I started running as fast as I could. " Avada Kedrava!" He pointed right at my heart. He almost got me if it wasn't for the unicorn that I had been chasing earlier. Then I realized that it wasn't the same unicorn. It had been the unicorn's friend. It was dead. By saving my life, she took away her own. A tear dripped from my eye. I wiped it away and kept on running. Then another unicorn appeared and took me on it's back. It had saved me! I had gotten away from that forest and went back home. A few years later, I am still grateful for both those unicorns. If it weren't for them, I'd have been dead by now. I am so happy to be here.
