Backstory

Before reading, I want to let you know, I am Hazel, and I just told the Backstory and Personality in 3rd person because why not?

My Backstory: Hazel was born into a pureblood family, with the exception of her mother, who was a halfblood. Her parents met in the Forbidden Forest - her father because he was running away from an insane hippogriff, her mother simply because she wanted to explore. Both hit it off well, became friends and then got married in 3 months. Hazel's paternal grandmother was furious with her father for marrying a halfblood, what with being brought up with superiority ideas about purebloods, but didn't have the heart to disown her only son. Hazel used to dislike her paternal grandmother before, but after seeing the mean side of her, Hazel had a grudging respect for her grandmother after the whole incident, but continued to love her mother, no less. Long story short, Hazel got accepted into Hogwarts when she was 11, and got sorted into Slytherin.
My Personality: Egoistic, narcissistic, disdaining. Always thinking that she's better than everyone else, but once another person comes into the picture that has around the same caliber as her, she will get extremely competitive and will spend days and nights thinking of all the ways she can one-up the opponent. However, despite Hazel's flaws, she still has strengths - like, as stated above, she will stick relentlessly to her notions of one-upping her rival, pushing determinedly on, and her schemes are usually well thought out and clever.
