Backstory
I received my Hogwarts letter on the first day of classes back in a Muggle school.I was supposed to be a regular eighth-grader in my school but then I discovered that I was a witch in the middle of my literature class. I was seated by the window so it wasn't that much of a scene, I simply picked up the letter from the window and bam, I'm a witch. After the Lit class I stood up and left the school---and never came back.
It wasn't that much of a surprise to me since my mom is a witch, in fact, she was a Ravenclaw. Dad was a Muggle, but he accepted Mom whatever the situation was, so we're cool. So I was really kind of hoping to receive a letter from Hogwarts and honestly, on the first day of my Muggle classes, I got so disappointed I thought I was never really going to get the letter, but oh well it came. It was a huge relief.
My mom knew where to shop for my robes, how to get my wand at Ollivander's, and all those preparation you do before the term actually starts; so I did not have that much of a struggle trying to figure out what to do. I was really excited. When the day finally came, I could not be happier. Walking my way into the Great Hall felt just like home and the feeling is just wonderful. I was sorted into the Gryffindor house that same day and I'm loving the experience so far.
I'm always seeking for knowledge and adventure. I like to spend my free time in the library or somewhere inside the dorm reading a good book.
