Backstory

Heyo! I’m Tessa, Tessa May. I am in Ravenclaw and was sorted in a fair amount of time. I still don’t really understand the choice though, I more pride myself on creativity instead of intelligence. My favorite classes are Care of Magical Creatures, Potions, and Charms. I really don’t enjoy Divination, Muggle Studies, or Astronomy, though I was pretty great at it. I am a pureblood, but I don’t jade myself with blood statuses, though being a pureblood has helped me in a social and financial aspect. Everyone’s still just a person in my eyes. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to think on my feet. Whether it be a witty comeback, stinging remark, or answer to a riddle, it’s probably rattling around in my brain, waiting to be used. My greatest weakness is my stubbornness and unconscious slip into getting on a high horse. I can be an elitist sometimes and not notice until someone points it out. I also get very defensive. After I finish school, I would love to be an Auror. It sounds like an interesting challenge. All parts of magic fascinate me, even if I was born into a pureblooded family. There’s so much about it that we don’t understand! In the long run though, I really just want to use magic to help others, especially if “others” includes myself. I’ve got a screech owl that I call Odysseus, who can be a bit of a diva. He only handles certain things and absolutely refuses to carry potion ingredients. Hope you enjoy this place as much as I do!
