Backstory
My mom is a small town muggle bakery owner. My Dad is a professor in Theater Arts at Colorado Community College. They met when my Dad walked into the bakery to buy a doughnut and was literally struck dumb by the Woman working at the counter; AKA, my mom. When I got my letter to Hogwarts, I thought it was a joke. After all, I'm a muggle-born. I hadn't exactly been raised to believe in magic, witches, or wizards. To think that I actually was one myself was beyond my comprehension. But, with a strange turn of events, I ended up in Diagon Alley, surrounded by evidence. After exchanging some muggle money for wizard money at Gringotts, I bought everything on my class list. My parents took me to catch the Hogwarts Express on September first, and I thus began my Hogwarts "career". I befriended Libby Scamander on the train. We shared candy from the trolley and talked a lot on the way there. When I got to Hogwarts, I was a bit of a hat staller, but eventually I was sorted into Hufflepuff, along with Libby, and we ended up in the same dorm together. Thanks to my father's profession, I have a healthy obsession with anything having to do with acting. Musical Theater is my personal favorite. I can also cook, although I don't really need to at Hogwarts. I love animals, and I try to be as sweet as I can and try to know right versus wrong. I object to all the Hufflepuff stereotypes and wish that all houses could be considered equally intelligent. I love Luna Lovegood, and admire her open mind and sense of wonder. I am happy with my place in Hogwarts, even when people call me crazy, or insult me with one of those stupid Hufflepuff stereotypes. So, yeah. That's my story. What's yours?
