Jacob Wolfsbane

Backstory

(First year student) A Gryffindor with a desire to find the answers to as many of life's mysteries as possible. The first of his questions; what compels the events that transpire in ones life? Born into a mixed blood family. His father a muggle abandoned his mother a Witch at birth. Devastated his mother raised him as best she could. During his formative years a sibling his younger sister, was welcomed into his family and all seemed well for a time.

One evening on the night of a full moon in the midst of Autumn he and his family were out for an evening walk. This was something he had always done with his mother growing up and it carried throughout his life until this evening. On this night as the clouds cleared from the moon a howl echoed through the nearby woods. In panic and terror his mother drew her wand and began to run cradling his baby sister. As if compelled by the hunt with but a small bound it was over. With a vicious bite on his shoulder and a panicked claw across his right eye his fate was sealed. Scared for life and permanently suffering the lose of sight in one eye our young wizard was changed forever.

Despite these obstacles he's remanded a very optimistic person always striving to help the ones he cares for all the while knowing what it means to truly struggle.
