Backstory

Born and raised in Canada with English ancestry, I attended Hogwarts in order to discover my fathers history and ancestry. I love History of Magic, and have read anything and everything I can, including all genealogical and family history books I can lay my hands on. My speciality in history is to know the genealogies of as many of the wizarding families in Britain as possible. I also love Ancient Studies and Ancient Runes as well.

At this point, I have not yet found any connection between my ancestry and that of Dean Thomas. I believe Thomas was his mothers name, not his fathers.

My father is a halfblood and my mother is a muggle. She hates magic. But that change of attitude only happened after I wandlessly and accidently banished her from the lounge into the kitchen table when I was 4 years old. This caused her some severe injuries and as a muggle, they cannot be repaired easily. My half blood father has been my magical teacher ever since. We live in a muggle area of Canada.

When it came time to go get my wand, Dad took me to the magical district in Boston, Massachusetts that caters to students attending Ilvermorny school. Except that I wont be going to Ilvermorny - I will be going to Hogwarts, because my parents are both British.

My wand is made from Pine Wood, with a Unicorn Tail Hair core. It is 14 inches long, swishy and good for those who like to experiment with new methods and spells, or so I was told. Pine wood is also reputed to work well with those who can do wandless magic and also grants long life to its owners. The Unicorn hair is faithful to its owner and produces the most consistent magic.
