Backstory
I grew up in the Wizarding World in Diagon Alley in a small flat above Flourish and Blotts. My Father is a muggle and he works as a semi-successful horror novelist whereas my Mother is a pureblood witch who works in St Mungos Hospital as a Healer. I was 8 years old when the manager of Flourish and Blotts noticed how much time I spent in the store reading anything and everything that interested me and he offered me the job of 'assisstant' - which in reality was just helping unpacking boxes - and I have been helping out there part time ever since!
It was at Flourish and Blotts that I first came into proper contact with a magical creature. A Bowtruckle had become lost when her wand tree's wood had been used for wands and she found herself on a delivery to Ollivanders by mistake. She was scared and sick so I helped nurse her back to health and released her back into the wild. This event sparked my interest in care of magical creatures and I've been studying it ever since.
When my Mother attended Hogwarts she was sorted into Ravenclaw house and as we are quite similar I suspected the same sorting outcome for myself. However, I had a vision that if I was to truly thrive I should be sorted into Gryffindor. I told my Mother and she believes that I have the abilities of a Seer but I guess I won't know for sure until I start Divination in third year.
A few months after the conversation with my Mother about Seer's she brought back a suprise for me from work. A wizard had been admitted to the hospital after suffering a relativly serious splinching injury after an unfortunate encounter with a baby Demiguise. Rather than the Demiguise being taken in by the Ministery, my Mother believed my Care of Magical Creatures skills advanced enough to nurse the mild splinch the Demiguise had suffered back to health. I was successful and have since bonded with the Demiguise who I have named Pickle. I tried to release him back into the wild but he had become so attached to me that before I could even try he turned invisible for weeks until I decided against it. After writing to Headmistress Oshiro she kindly allowed Pickle to come with me to Hogwarts under the advice that I find a suitable place for him to live. I hunted down the Room of Requirement pretty easily and he has happily lived there ever since, visiting him whenever I can of course.
Upon leaving Hogwarts I hope to become a professional Magizoologist and help as many creatures around the world as I possibly can, no matter how big or small or dangerous they are.
