Backstory

After my first three years at Hogwarts, I finally summoned up enough courage to try out for the Slytherin Quidditch team-- even though they hadn't had a girl on the team for over fifty years. But I was the best Beater out of all the boys and spent the rest of my school year flying and dropping Dungbombs on unsuspecting Ravenclaws and Gryffindors (Most of my friends are Hufflepuffs, so I never attacked their housemates. Though I thought about it). I was almost guaranteed a spot on the Holyhead Harpies when, in my seventh year, facing Gryffindor I was hit by a Bludger in my knee. I refused to get it treated and instead played through seven hours of intense pain before being rushed to the Hospital Wing. My knee would never heal properly.
So I became a broom designer for the Nimbus Racing Broom Industry, one of their best if I say so myself. The last Quidditch Cup used my new creation: the Nimbus5000. Through years of work, I was able to make it have the fastest turns ever seen, without ever tipping over. The broom was also able to go almost 10,000 feet into the air, the charm also providing the rider with safety at that height.
I still work at the Nimbus Racing Broom Company, but some attention has transferred to my new husband, Brennan Mattews. He works at the Ministry as part of the Magical Matniece Crew. The week he proposed to me-- the windows of the Ministry were filled with such a bright sun many of the workers had to close their shades.
