Élodie Marie Atherton

Backstory

Élodie is a quirky and reserved first year, but she loves meeting new people, and she is often more interested in writing, sketching, and exploring the grounds than in completing her homework. She is looking for friends and hopes to one day be on the quidditch team. Once she gets to know someone, she is comfortable around them and is incredibly loyal. She is also interested to learn more about the history of Hogwarts if she can concentrate long enough to read about it.

Elodie grew up in the muggle city of Cambridge, England, but she's attached to it and sometimes feels homesick or thinks about the muggle universities there. Her parents are Spencer and Marie Atherton, and she has two siblings: George and Lydia. George is already at Hogwarts in his 3rd year, and her younger sister is still at home in muggle school. Lydia can't wait to get her letter.

She hopes to one day teach at Hogwarts, and continue on in the academic traditions (and the magical atmosphere) of the renown magic school.
