Backstory

Just and average girl who happened to have gotten her Hogwarts acceptance lost in the OWL Post.

Info I got when I was on POTTERMORE:
My Wand: Alder wood with a Unicorn hair core 10 ¼" and Slightly Springy flexibility (I love it. I'm a short girl so this wand is perfect.)
What My Wand says about me: Alder is an unyielding wood, yet I have discovered that its ideal owner is not stubborn or obstinate, but often helpful, considerate and most likeable.
When an alder wand is happily placed, it becomes a magnificent, loyal helpmate. Of all wand types, alder is best suited to non-verbal spell work, whence comes its reputation for being suitable only for the most advanced witches and wizards.

Unicorn hair generally produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages.They are the most faithful of all wands, and usually remain strongly attached to their first owner, irrespective of whether he or she was an accomplished witch or wizard.

This wand is good for crafting spells. Owners matched with this wand may be very cheerful and optimistic, but most of all, they have very big (and possibly overactive) imaginations. Their thought patterns tend to be outside of the box.

I have always known I was meant to be a gryffindor. I took the pottormore test and sure enough I was. I have all 7 books in hardcover, and a huge gryffindor blanket.
