Backstory

I was a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991-1999. I was greatly involved in the defence of the school during every skirmish and battle that happened there during the Second Wizarding War. I decided to return for another year after the 1997-1998 school year because the school had been seized by wizards of the Dark Arts that year. After graduating from Hogwarts, I decided to travel to the magical community in the United States of America to become a Quidditch commentator. I did so in 2000. I became well-known in that job due to my eloquent speaking skills. I returned to the United Kingdom magical community in 2005, having been a Quidditch commentator for five years. I was then approached by Minister for Magic Kingsley Shacklebolt who was still reconstructing the Ministry after the Second Wizarding War. Due to the fighting skills I demonstrated during the war, Shacklebolt recommended that I train as an Auror. My training lasted three years and completed in 2008. Harry Potter had become Head of the Auror Office a year earlier. I advanced through the levels and led the other Aurors on multiple successful missions to eradicate the Dark Arts. The Headmaster of Hogwarts approached me in 2016 and suggested that I resign from the Auror Office to take the position of the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor at the school. So, after 8 years of being an Auror, I left my job at the Auror Office and began teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts starting in the 2016-2017 school year.
