Backstory

(Younger Student) When I received my Hogwarts Letter, I didn’t know what it meant. At first I thought it was 'ha ha , what a pathetic joke" ya know? My family sometimes played pranks on me, or blamed me when some weird stuff happened around the house. Anyway, my parents were going to go shopping in London anyway and they figured they would humor me, as they were skeptical of the letter. The look on their faces when we stopped by the Barren Bulldog pub and the sign said “The Leaky Cauldron” was priceless! The innkeeper was an odd but friendly man, and there were some people to help show us around. The most interesting part of shopping for supplies was getting my school books, and spell books. I just love charms! I might finish with “Standard Book of Spells Grade 1” before school even starts.
