Backstory

I suppose I should start out by saying that I am a proud Half-Blood, now of course blood status doesn't mean a think to me, but if I were to choose then I guess being a half-blood isn't bad. I mean I get the best of both worlds! (Hannah Montana anyone?). In case you're wondering, my dad is a wizard and my moms a muggle. And of course mom and I know all about the Wizarding World thanks to dear old dad, for real though he doesn't shut up about it. And guess now moms going to have magic folk rambling about Hogwarts.
Well anyways, I say all this to say that I wasn't really surprised when the owl dropped off my letter. I had always hoped that I would get to be a witch and go to Hogwarts just like dad, and there had been my moments of doubt, but mostly I was prepared. I had gone through dads old school chest and turns out he had kept most of his old books, robes, and even some old letters from is family and friends. So like any other future student in their right mind I read them all, okay so maybe not everything, but at least all of the books going until like 3rd year. And now I'm finally here and I can't wait to make friends and learn everything I can! Go Ravenclaws!!
