Wynn Anderson

Backstory

Born in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, I was raised by my mother, a witch, and my muggle father. My mother tried to hide her magical powers from my father, but I was the first of her four children to demonstrate enhanced magical powers. My older sister and brother showed no inclination of being gifted with magic, but my mother knew when I was born that I would be the one for I had the mark of the Special One. In the center of my chest, as if it were a jewel set in a necklace, there was the mark that would direct my path. I completed the education requirements in the muggle world and secretly trained with my mother to enhance my powers. After establishing myself in the muggle world as an educator to exceptional children, I was able to begin my education with Hogwarts via HiH's distance learning program. I was nervous about the sorting ceremony but I felt fairly confident that I would be placed in the same house as my mother--she flourished in Ravenclaw and became well-known for her time as an Auror. However, the sorting hat felt differently and placed me in Gryffindor. It said the mark on my chest is what made the decision obvious.

I am currently still working in the muggle world with exceptional children while completing my studies at Hogwarts. I am hoping to finish soon and would love to become an instructor in the magical world. I have a cat named Henry who loves to play and chase the fairies around the creek.
