Joy Clearwater

Backstory

I was born in the Muggle world so when I received my Hogwarts letter, I thought it was a joke someone was playing on me. I threw it in the bin but the next morning, when I left the house, a beautiful owl was waiting for me, perched on the fence. It had another letter in its beak and dropped it at my feet before flying away. When I looked at the envelope, it had my exact address on it. It even said that I slept in the top bunk bed, in the bedroom I shared with my sister. I took a closer look and saw a note pinned to the acceptance letter. It said that it was not a joke and that I really had special capabilities and that someone would soon call at my house to explain everything.
The next day, a Ministry employee rang the doorbell and I became very excited. I couldn't wait for September to go to that special school and learn to become a witch!
The Ministry employee took me and my family to Diagon Alley where the dream actually came true. If I had any more doubts about the wizarding world, they vanished at the sight of the amazing shops there.
And when I boarded the train to Hogwarts I was equally scared and excited!
The Sorting Hat put me into Ravenclaw which is not very surprising I guess, since I've always loved to learn new things.
