Backstory

I come from a mostly-Muggle family, apart from my twin sister, a couple of my cousins, and a few others here and there, like one of my nieces and one of my nephews. It took a couple minutes for the Sorting Hat to decide I was, in fact, a Hufflepuff, as it also considered Ravenclaw to be a good choice as well. My favourite classes are History of Magic, Charms, and Care of Magical Creatures. I’m not very good at potions, due to clumsy hands and just…bad instincts. I’ve got a couple pets; a dog named Branson, a cat called Oliver, and a rabbit named Albie. I was a third year when the Battle of Hogwarts took place, and I ended up sneaking down to join in on the fight. That was two years ago, and I’d like to say I was able to move past all that I witnessed and had to do that night, but I’d be lying. My greatest strength is my imagination and creativity, which I think leads me to ideas and conclusions most wouldn’t think of. I’m not sure what my greatest weakness is yet, honestly. There seem to be a good amount to choose from. I bounce back and forth in my ideas of what I want to do after school; perhaps be an auror, or work in spell development, or care for magical creatures. I’d also like to be a writer on the side – I have so many book ideas floating around that I’d love to share with the world. To me the most fascinating aspects of magic is both the ability to do so many things, and yet the ethics of having these abilities. I think I want to use magic for others as well as myself, and honestly I think my biggest goal in life is to make an impact – somehow, someway.
