Backstory

My father was American, my mother British. They met when my mother was visiting MACUSA on business for the MoM. They had a brief love affair, from which my mother walked away with me. As the Second Wizarding War was ending, shortly after my second birthday, it was discovered that my mother was a Death Eater. I was sent to live with my father in America; I was nine when he died. I was sent back to Britain to live with my mother's brother, a squib, and his witch wife. My life from there was a heavy mix of no-maj (sorry - muggle) and wizarding, until I started at Hogwarts. I took my black owl Arianrhod with me and was sorted into Slytherin. My mother's status as a (now imprisoned) Death Eater was apparently a well-known secret, which made lots of people not like me. However, a muggle-born Ravenclaw boy immediately declared himself my friend, and his wide friendship made people not so put off by me. When I left Hogwarts (with seven NEWTS) I trained to be an Auror and a healer because I wanted to help people in my own fierce way. I'm now one of the best field medics they have.
