Lucy Ivanova

Backstory

Hello, there! My name is Lucy Ivanova, and I am a proud Gryffindor. The hat took a while with me, debating between Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, but I wasn't a hatstall by any means. I requested Gryffindor, and I haven't had any cause to regret that in the slightest! I love Defense Against the Dark Arts, History of Magic and Astronomy, but I'm not a big fan of Care of Magical Creatures or Potions. I am a muggleborn. Other than particularly bigoted students, my status hasn't affected my experience in the wizarding world. I was born the year after the Battle of Hogwarts, so Harry Potter and Voldemort both exist as legends to me. My greatest weakness is my indecisiveness - that is why it took so long for the hat to sort me. I want to be a teacher after I finish school, or else work with the Ministry of Magic. The most fascinating aspect of magic to me is everything about it, honestly. It blows my mind every day. I want to use magic to help others. I have many siblings, only some of whom are magical. I come from a gigantic family, similar to the Weasleys but without the magic.
