Backstory
"Born as a Muggle in Pylos right after the defeat of Grindelwald and the demise of Hitler, Lukas Karuzos grew up in a world of liberty and peace, was it not for the terrible burden that was holding its true magical nature in secrecy. After a heated argument with his non-magical family about his goals and destiny, Karuzos fled north, as he enrolled in Durmstrang Institute and was keen to develop his studies in the magical arts.Nevertheless, Karuzos never felt fully realised in such a dark and mysterious environment. Completing his degree with top grades, he moved to England, hoping to begin a life of work as a spell researcher and curse breaker. However, meeting Tytos Vector came to be a course-changing event, as Lukas Karuzos enrolled again in school, this time in Hogwarts, just to complete his studies on Arithmancy, a subject alas neglected in the northern magical school, and excelling in the effort.
Since then, his work is known: defying several conventions and estabilishing in "A New Theory of Numerology" his own line of numerological thought ("karuzianism", as Vector cemented on his discourse), Karuzos is one of the great names in modern Arithmancy, having authored, on the subject, the school textbook "Numerology and Grammatica", one of the few to be adopted by all 11 wizarding schools - a feat only accomplished by Newt Scamander ("Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"), Bathilda Bagshot ("A History of Magic") and Adalbert Waffling ("Magical Theory") -.
Lukas Karuzos is father to two daughters, and lives in Burford, Oxfordshire, with his wife Elena and his 12 Puffskeins (Peter, James, John, Andrew, Bartholomew, Thaddeus, Little James, Matthew, Philip, Simon, Thomas, and Demis Roussos)."
