Backstory

I was born in America and raised by my grandparents. After some time my mother got custody of me and we moved to England with her boyfriend at the time. She never told him she was a witch, he became aggressive when he found out and hid my letters for years. I ended up moving back in with my grandparents after finishing muggle high school, where I finally got my letter. I had been dabbling and doing some research on witchcraft in my early teens and found a lot of similarities to some strange occurances I had been experiencing and I started to question my mother, she denied everything at the time but ended up coming clean with me later in life and telling me about her experiences. I knew I was a witch since I was a child but the circumstances delayed my learning. I was going to attend a muggle university and study Astrophysics. I have a female black cat that is also my familiar named Bob.
