Backstory
Swooping evils were what ultimately got me hooked on learning as much as I could about magical creatures, but my love for these creatures was sparked by mooncalves, demiguises, nifflers, and dragons. I was also enchanted by the merfolk of the Great Lake and would often hold conversation with them through the window of the Slytherin common room during my Hogwarts years. Knowing the prejudice against Slytherins, and the even worse prejudice towards Muggleborns inside the house itself, I was nervous when The Sorting Hat placed me there. The dungeon was dark and felt gloomy at first, but soon I grew to love the stone walls and green lanterns. I felt at home.I became quite good friends with Hagrid and spent many hours in his hut, talking about every magical creature we'd ever encountered. Beginning my second year, my friends helped me smuggle beasts in so that I could train and study them in a controlled environment. Despite some of them being shy, many got quite the kick out of watching the merfolk swim by and tap on the glass. Now, the world is ready for my adventuring. Travelling and discovering more about the beasts I love is delightful, but my true passion is learning each creature's own personality and sharing my scientific findings with people, especially curious children.
My favorite creatures to both love and study: flitterby moths, hippogriffs, horned serpants, knarls, mooncalves, nifflers, occamies, plimpies, fwoopers, shrakes, golden snidget, graphorns, porlocks, puffskeins, ashwinders, fairies, three-headed dogs, ramoras, runespoors, sea serpents, snallygasters, bowtruckles, crups, demiguise, swooping evils, thunderbirds, kneazles, lethifolds, unicorns, winged horses
