Backstory
My mother, a Ravenclaw (who comes from a large family of mixed houses), taught me that each Hogwarts house was unique and would guide me down the right path. My mother taught me to study hard and to do my best, no matter what the task at hand. This work ethic has benefited me greatly over the years as I have excelled thus far in my courses at Hogwarts and have aspirations of someday becoming a Magizoologist and potentially a future Professor. Then there's my father, a curious chaotic Magizoologist who likes to experiment and observe nature. Belonging to house Slytherin, my father taught me that not all who are in Slytherin need be cruel hearted or perceivably lazy. He taught me that no matter which house you end up in, you are the one who chooses your fate. My father worked with Dragons until I was born, after which he retired for a short time and worked for the Department of Mystery. He still kept several magical creatures in our home, as well as several souvenirs from his youth. He now divides his time between working as an Auror and helping with the Dragon reservations in Romania. I have learned a lot from him over the years about the importance of magical creatures in our world.
I am currently a first year Slytherin student who likes to look ahead to the upper year courses and dream of one day learning more advanced spell work. I recognize, however, the need for the basics and am very happy to study all that comes my way in the meantime. I have a younger brother who recently started Hogwarts, sorted into Ravenclaw (mother is very proud) he is very studious despite being sometimes a little overly curious, something he acquired from my father.
