Backstory

It took a good 15 minutes for the sorting hat to decide, but in the end I was sorted into Ravenclaw. The house where I could be comfortable exploring everything I wanted to know in the world, alongside people who would support me. I spend most of my time browsing around on the internet, discovering information that isn't always the most useful. It drives my mother, who's a witch, crazy, but my father is in full support. He may be a muggle, but he's the smartest man I know. He works for google as a developer, so he spends most of his time working with computers as well. My mother, on the other hand, is a witch who's pretty set in her ways. How she ever managed to fall in love with someone as out-there as my dad, I'll never know. For some reason, they've never told me the story of how they met. Instead, I just wait in the dark for them to answer my greatest questions. What I do know is that my mother was a pureblood who defected from her family, a long line of stereotypical Slytherins, which makes me think there must be some softness under that serious facade. Maybe one day I'll get to know what my parents are really like, but for now I'm just here to learn as much as I can about the world around me.
