Backstory

Born into a Muggle family, receiving my letter to Hogwarts on my eleventh birthday was a shock to everyone. My parents, naturally, thought it was some kind prank by the neighbourhood kids, got a good laugh and tossed the letter in the garbage. It wasn't until I started receiving a letter every day after that that they started investigating it more. Thankfully, the letter outlined everything we needed to know and, cautiously, we visited a place called Diagon Alley. The rest is history...

Some more information about me - my name is Sofia Abernathy. I'm eleven years old and am a first-year Hufflepuff. I come from a family of 6 - there is my mother, father and older brother, all three are muggles. I also have twin younger sisters and a younger brother, but we're not sure if they have any magical talent yet.

I'm not really sure what I want to be when I grow up yet. But I know that I love sweets, I absolutely adore my new cat Archer that I got for Hogwarts and help my mom bake and decorate cakes when I can.

I'm looking forward to learning many things about this new world and can't wait to put it good use when I'm older.
