Backstory

I was lucky enough to spend my youth jumping between schools. There was never a school that offered an in-depth look at Alchemy my side of the world, and so I spend most of my days in Western Europe, studying where-ever will take me. I long to spend my later years at Hogwars, where I spend most of my days hidden away in the dusty Alchemy classrooms at Hogwarts. Something about those stone walls always makes my body and mind spin with need for power. I felt too familiar with the way the water laps at my common room windows, and I found it is the only place I could set aside the distinct loneliness that came with never having a real home.
I lost my family largely to the Wizarding war, my parents both killed by the Ministry following Voldemort's first attempts. Them being sucked into over-confidence with the power they found in their Alchemy. They stood on the wrong side, and though I feel much shame at the harm they caused, I was always so proud of their work. Ma and Pa were my inspiration and my warning when it came to my work, my passion. Alchemy was always too alluring with origins. You might call me a purist, believing that magic born from the four elements to be the ultimate display of control. I scramble daily to harness the earths most core qualities, but I do fear that I'll end up like them. Consumed by the power alchemy possesses.
