Backstory

I was one of the many students who did not receive their Hogwarts letters due to Voldemort's interference with the Ministry. I am from a Muggle family. I was always a bit different and odd. Strange things would happen when I would become upset, or I could tell when the phone would ring before it even began. I even on occasion was able to tell who it was at the door without being anywhere near the front of the house.
My family figured I was just strangely good at guessing. I went on to live as much of a 'normal' life as a could, until I received a letter in the mail shortly after I married my husband. At first, I thought it was another wedding gift. Upon opening the letter, I saw it was for Hogwarts. It confused me, thinking maybe my younger sister sent it as a prank. However, when I went to see her, she told me she also received the same letter.
We decided to follow the instructions, and found what seemed to be missing in our lives. MAGIC! It's a little difficult for us to try to attend, as we now both have adult lives in the Muggle world. But we want to do our best to learn about a world where we're accepted for our 'odd' and 'different' abilities.
