Backstory

I've come from a long line of pure-blood Slytherins; some Aurors working for the Ministry, some Death-Eaters, and some who just led normal lives of their own. I'm not afraid of the Dark Arts (in fact I embrace them fully) and have a bit of knowledge of the Defense against them already due to my familial ties to the usage of them. I support the Dark Arts being brought out of the taboo in my life time, to show that for a full understanding of Magic, one must embrace all aspects of it, not just cling to the truths of one side or another.
