Backstory
Stellan was born on December 17th at 1:13am to the Morris family. Due to a long and complicated birth, so very different from her first, his mother suffered major postpartum depression and became a recluse for over a year, causing him to never have a proper bond with her. The most time he spent in her arms was during feeding for only about 2 months, then feeding responsibilities got pushed onto anyone else willing to do it, usually his older brother, Orion, or a house elf. When his mother finally began showing face again it was only because his father forced her to, worried about their reputation. However, his mother never fully regained her spark. His parents often gave him the cold shoulder and his older brother often was torn between their parents and him. When he reached the age of 5, his father hired private tutors for every year until he turned 11. Through most of these years Orion was away at school, he only returned during the holidays and even then, during Orion's later years at school he made excuses of exams and homework to not return. This left Stellan alone more often than not. He made friends with a house elf named Lollie, who he spent a considerable amount of time with when he could. Lollie introduced him to muggle music and told him stories of life outside the cold stone walls of his manor. From the age of 5 he was shoved into the Morris family limelight, where he was told and scolded on how to be an honor to the name, how to smile when people ask, to not fidget, to stand straight, never a hair out of place. If he did anything wrong he was punished in a variety of ways, usually locked away without a meal, sometimes a slap of his fathers cane. By the time his 11th birthday rolled around he’d grown intolerant of his family, when he wasn’t in view of the public eye, he was usually running off on the property of the manor. He made himself scarce to his parents and found anything else to do with his time when he wasn’t studying with his tutors.
