Backstory
Hi all, I figured now would be the perfect time for a decent introduction. I was born Aramantha Iliana Blackstone, but everyone I know just calls me Ari. My mom's a Muggleborn while my dad's family spans back generations of pureblood witches and wizards, so it makes me 1/4 Muggle? I'm not really sure, to be honest!Originally from Kent, I've spent much of the last two years traveling around with Dad, he's a Medi-Wizard and has been working with different Dragon Pox outbreaks in elderly wizarding communities across the world, but right now we're back home in Kent, where I live with him and my grandparents. My mother died, fighting in the second wizarding war and it's something neither Dad nor I really talk about. In any case, my favorite places that I have visited have been Wyoming in the United States, as well some remote parts of the Outback in Australia. I really like the rural, interesting places of countries, there is so much undiscovered history there.
My grandfather and father were both a part of Slytherin, while my mother was in Hufflepuff and my grandmother, a Ravenclaw. An interesting combination, to say the least.
As for my interests, I'm definitely a bit more adventurous, studying in Peru to find out more about Peruvian Vipertooth dragons, studying Nifflers in America, and Welsh Greens in Wales. My dad has really encouraged me to learn as much as I can...I secretly think he's hoping I'll secure a ministry internship one day. He just wants me to succeed, I hope I live up to the family name.
