Backstory
Hi, my name is Maria Alice and I am a Hogwarts student! The pure shock I had when I figued out that I am a witch... I will never forget that day! It changed my life forever!
You see, I never really had a place to call home. I never had a stable place or even people to trust; I was on my own my whole life. I felt so lonely going place-to-place and not being able to sit down and be loved. That was until one cold and lonely night turned into a warm sun-kissed day.
I stayed at a muggle shelter for too long, so they kicked me out on a early September, fall night. The weather at night in the fall is quite cold where I'm from so having to go all night with no blankets to keep me warm is terrible. There I was, laying on a muggle park bench, crying because I was so alone... Then all of a sudden, a tall figure walked over to me and calmly said, "don't cry, my darling. You are far better than some rusty old metal bench. You belong at Hogwarts, with me. with us!" As soon as this figure said "with us", about a dozen other figures appeared! They all portaled me into Hogwarts, it was warm and cozy; and explained all my questions.
When I say that everything clicked... I MEAN EVERYTHING CLICKED!!! I didn't know that muggles can't accio things! I've been using that spell unintentionally for years not even knowing that other people can't do it! I never knew that I am special and deserve more than cold metal benches. I never even gave it a thought. But now that I know and understand that I am worthy, EVERYTHING CLICKED!!!
When it was time for the Sorting Hat to put me in a house, I got Slytherin! Once I settled into my dorm, a very nice welcoming happend that I never got in my life! Everyone ran to me with love and asking questions about me, about my journey. about my story... information that I never got asked before. I felt at ease, at home, a place that I can finally rest in. For once in my life, I feel like I belong!
Fast forward to now, I am student who loves to go to Hogsmeade with friends, win house points for my fellow Slytherins, hanging in the halls while having fun duels, and causing pranks to make people and myself laugh!
Hogwarts is the best thing that has ever happened to me! I am truely happy here and excited to cause more chaos through my magical powers hehe!
