Backstory
When I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, I was scared at first. I thought I was being sent far, far away from home. Being an only child, I didn't want to leave my mother by herself. I was the only family member she had left. However, my mother insisted that I go. Not wanting to disappoint her, I decided that I would attend Hogwarts. I didn't do it just to make my mother proud, but I also wanted to find out who I was. After that, I was sorted into Slytherin. I didn't know what to make of it. I always thought I'd fare better in Ravenclaw.
After talking to some students, I found out that I was a half-blood. Apparently, my father was quite a famous pureblood among the students' parents. They used to chant his name in the hallways until he fell in love with my mother, who was Muggleborn. Since then, they treated him like an outcast. But that didn't matter to him because he found his true love with my mother.
It isn't easy being in Slytherin. There is still a lot of prejudice against them because of the war, but I manage to steer clear of the insults and hexes and keep my head low. I merely focus on my studies. My goal is to graduate Hogwarts without a hitch.
