Backstory
Backstory.♡
Of a prestigious family originated in China and associated with the Widzarding world for longer than a few generations, I have always been told to be prude and have dignity of a young lady. My parents had wanted me to attend a normal academy as to deprive me from 'their' world. It didn't work. I found out what they were hiding from me (lol yall weren't slick at all). They denied me of access to the wonders of widzardy with the reason of it being too 'dangerous' and I was too pampered to care about attending the school of magic. Eventually I gave up because what could have a 11 years old do? I chose to went along with my days and forget about all that had happened between me and my parents.
That all changed when I received my letter of acceptance to Hogwarts.
When I got the letter, I was bewildered (in an absolute positive way by all means) and was filled with alarcity to attend right away.
Upon finally ariving to Hogwarts as a first year, I was sorted into the house of Ravenclaw, one my mother - a well-known author's house back in her years with Hogwarts.
I was instantly intrigued with the subject of Astronomy and Defense Against the Dark Arts, and enrolled for the courses. I am now deeply fond of the knowledge it's been providing me and I sworn to strive for the best within every lessons.
How I'm like..♡
It is wise to remind to you, dear friend who's reading this that this is merely how I view myself from my perspective. It is undoubtedly true how others choose to perceive me may not align with how I perceived myself.
Setting that aside, I'm a reserved and aloof person, quite bold and rather expressive in the term of art and creativity.
'cold' isn't a word used for me, no. I'm quite open-minded if something come as an interest to me (which happens quite naturally as long as others approach me with their interests) but most of the time I'd keep to myself.
When it comes to subjects that fascinate me, I'd subconsciously go all out. I just adore the tantalizing desire to express whatever that built who I am today, and also having a witness also (shamelessly) boosts my ego.
Somethings about me.♡
I can't help but share a few things that I truly adore and cannot go on with life without indulging in them within the next 10 business days.
- I love coffee. My veins are filled with caffeine. I actually prefer latte and americano to the rest, I'm not quite immerse with a large amount of dairy as I am lactose intolerant (whoopsie).
- Books. Need I say more? Growing up I've always been a reader, I read hundreds of of books ranking from different genres. Also my favorite author is Jane Austen!
- Music. Most whom I know would predict me as a classical genre type of girl, but to summarize my favorite genres is by listing my two favorite artists - Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey. I do listen to classical though, just not as usual because I somehow don't have the capability to remember the tracks title (they're awfully long).
- Art. I love drawing, in fact, I do that when I'm not reading and when I'm not listening to music and also when I'm not drowning myself in school works! Dare I say I have quite a unique artstyle because I have accumulated thousands of imprinted images of art in my head so everytime I physically attempt to draw, it comes out as a mix of almost everything I have ever seen in my life.
- Studying. I love brain exercise, and the best way to do it is to open your textbook and dive into the knowledge for endless hours (not really endless just until you realize you're about to malfunction). It's agonizingly painful from time to time, yes. But what's fun without a little pain? (p/s I'm not a sadist), plus it gains you insights!
