Calum Aksnes, was born in a muggle household in Brazil. His parents are two historians from Norway and Scotland, Vikendal Aksnes and Mórag MacNeil; they moved to Brazil due to history research about Brazilian indigenous people and their culture.

Calum studied in a Brazilian school until he was 10 years old, there he was taught about Portuguese, Brazil’s language, about their culture and history, like his parents he was into History (after he entered Hogwarts, in addition to History of Magic, he continued studying Muggle History).

When he was reaching his 11 years of life, his parents concluded the research and decided to come back to Europe, to his mother’s family place, they moved to Dufftown, Scotland. It was harsh on Calum, because he would need to say goodbye to all of his friends and go far from where he had grown up. But, there they went. After stepping on Dufftown for the first time, he instantly felt connected with the place and its nature. It was magical, but suddenly strange things started to happen…

After Calum moved to Scotland, he started to have prophetic dreams very often, like the time he dreamed that his aunt would lose a bet to a drunk man in a bar, losing exactly 187,56 pounds. He told his parents, who were instantly confused by the details of the dream but didn’t believe this was a sign, however, a week later it happened as Calum predicted to his aunt. This was not the only time, but this was the most strange. He not only experienced fortune telling, but leaves floating fast in a swirl around him and following him, when there was no wind, death flowers growing back to normal as he touched them. His parents were worried about those strange phenomenon, but soon after the answer came.

On July, a man wearing a long purple gown and a pointy hat holding a letter knocked on the front door. The couple was confused but let him enter after he told them that he knew what was happening to Calum. After drinking the tea that Vikendal prepared they told them Calum was accepted in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (even with the Norwegian heritage, Calum couldn’t be accepted in Durmstrang, due to him being a muggle born), then the man started to tell everything he could about the Wizarding World and how their son could be a wizard. The couple were progressive and open-minded people, so they didn’t contest and found out this was very important to the boy.

The parents and the boy were accompained by Minister's agents through Diagon Alley on August. The visit and shopping were pretty normal for a new Hogwarts student, he bought the wand, the books and the clothing, as any other would do, he enven addopted a female black cat that came to him asking for attention and care, he called her Morgana. Everything was pretty normal, except one thing. When they were passing through the road, a small tend smelling incense from the inside cought Calum's attention, soon he entered there to find an old lady drinkng a cup of tea sitting on desk with a lot of cristals and cards layed. The woman stared at the boy with curiosity, he was not an ordinary costumer, he had something stange... Calum was trying to understand why the lady was looking at him that way, then the woman spoke. "Young child, I can sense it in you, you're a born soothsayer, you can predict the future! Come closer", as Calum came closer to the woman she gave him a Tarot card deck. "They will help you in your journey to fortune telling, take good care of them!", the woman said. Calum confused, but accepted the gift, like, he was in a magical world now, anything could happen, right? As he got home he could study those cards, and really liked to read them, it was gratifying, and pretty soon he became a begginer tarologist.

Then, on September 1st, he went to Hogwarts...
