Backstory

I was as shocked as anyone else when I recieved my letter. Sure, my family may be pureblooded, but I was convinced that perhaps magic would skip the loser in the family and I'd be left a squib. Still, to my shock, I made it here. It was disappointing to my parents when I assigned to Hufflepuff, the house of 'lazy brats' according to them, but that hat was certain about its choice, and as I begin to adjust to life here, I believe it made the right decision. My friends are my lifeblood, and I would do anything for them, which includes breaking my parents laws of not speaking to any less 'pure' than I. It doesn't help that I have to hide my transness from them, but I'm just hoping that as soon as I finish my schooling, I can get myself a nice job and move away from my parents. I'm still not entirely sure what that job may be, but I'm certain I'll find my place in the world with the help of my friends.
