House:                                      I was sorted in to Ravenclaw because I am a huge space nerd and I really live to make art.  It didn't take long but their was hesitation between Ravenclaw or Slytherin.

Year:                                                  I am beginning my first year at hogwarts and I am looking forward to potions and defence against the dark arts though I don't think I will be particularly good at either.

Blood status and family:                I am a half-blood, both my parents are muggle borns. I am a second generation Ravenclaw on my mother's side. My father was a Griffindore. Most of my family consists of muggles. I am the middle child of three. My sister is a squib and my brother is to young to go to hogwarts. We are waiting for a letter to tell for shure if he is a wizard or not. He hasn't shown any magical ability but let's just say he has that weirdness to him that my muggle portion of the family insists all wizards have. Luckily, they are very open to the idea of magic, they just like to tease.

What I suck at and what I am good at:                                            I am just starting my magical education because I went to a magical primary but if I had to bet I think I will be good in astronomy because it is a long lasting hobby of mine. I also think I will be good in potions cause it is basically just chemistry right? Flying might be a harder sell though. I've never been very agile.

My plans after Hogwarts:              I don't really have a clear idea of a wizarding job I would like to do after my education. My only example I really have is my mother. She is a runes teacher at our local school(not hogwarts) I might pursue muggle education and try to become an astrophysicist because that is a job I would truly LOVE. Though if I stick to wizarding jobs I think I would like to be a magical reasercher (if that is even a job) because I have a theory that I am really passionate about. I am a huge math and science nerd. Magic and science don't seem like they would fit well together but I disagree. I believe using science to explain magic could actually lead to stronger spells! For example, the Cruciatus Curse, it would be interesting to look into whether it triggers all pain receptors at once or if it makes your brain release an absurd amount of Glutamate (the chemical in your brain that triggers pain) I believe the latter is the most likely option because the Cruciatus Curse is said to be the most painful thing a person can endure and theoretically someone could have all of their pain receptors triggered at once by being burnt alive or something and that would release a certain amount of Glutamate that should theoretically be equivalent to the curse if it triggers all the pain receptors but if it affects the brain then it could force the brain to release more Glutamate than is fiscally possible for the pain receptors to feel. Going by this theory we could potentially use a derivent of the Cruciatus Curse to cure depression by gorcing the release of dopamine in a similar manner. On top of the magical emportance this research would hold it would also have social value! Why? Well it uses muggle technology! Suddenly muggles aren't lowsome beings bellow wizards in the public eye but people we can learn from and exchange knowledge with! Wouldn't that be cool! We could even have muggles related to wizards working with us!

Pets:                                              We have a family owl. He is rather small and is called Porthos (like in the three musketeers) Porthos has a strange green coloration because of a magical incident we were never able to reverse. So, if you see a small green owl in the Great Hall, point him my way.(Ps. He bites)
