Backstory

Madeline always knew she had magic. With a magical mother and muggle father, she had been raised to know the benefits of both worlds. She was on the list for Hogwarts from birth, thanks to her mom's high social standing. Madeline was a smart kid like her parents, and thanks to that (and a few clever moves) she started school a year early. She went to a good muggle school for 6 years and spent what would have been her 5th grade being homeschooled by her father. He was a brilliant muggle doctor and he wanted at least one of his children to get his passion for science from him before learning magic. The two of them and her mom tried to get every great muggle activity in before Madeline ultimately joined Hogwarts after her 12th birthday. She was the youngest of three children, her two older brothers both went to Hogwarts and were in year four. They were in Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw and had helped her buy all her school supplies and get settled in. Madeline was overjoyed when she was sorted into Ravenclaw, as she inherited a deep thirst for knowledge from her father. Unfortunately, she got her mom's bad studying habits as well. Madeline brought with her her collection of muggle science books, a special iPod her mom helped make, and a brand new pet Owl she loves but is allergic to. Madeline wants to learn how to make muggle science work with wizarding technology, so hopefully one day she won't have to choose between two passions.
