Isabelle Lockwood

Backstory

Isabelle Lockwood is a descendant of the noble Lockwood Family. The Lockwoods are an old and influential family of Wizards made up of generations of individuals who have been held with high regard or were at least very well-known and left many legacies during their time.

As the Lockwoods were such an old family, they have a great deal of wealth and history. They have resided in several countries across the globe at different periods of time, and they have held many high positions at the Ministry of Magic throughout their existence.

Throughout history, the Lockwoods were known for their snobbish attitudes and disdain towards muggles. Over time, they have become more tolerant and understanding of Muggles and their 'purpose' in the world.

Isabelle is of Argentinian heritage from her mother's side. She is a descendant of a long line of successful wizards and witches who attended Castelobruxo Academy of Magical Arts, who then became recognised worlwide for their magical discoveries. Isabelle aspires to be as successful as her forbears from both her mother and father's side.

When it came to the sorting ceremony, the Sorting Hat was very indecisive of whether Isabelle belonged in Ravenclaw or Slytherin. Her ambitiousness and resourcefulness and mystery made her the perfect fit for Slytherin. However, her creativity, wit and willingness to learn and better herself made her the ultimate Ravenclaw student. It was a very close draw between the two houses. It also seems that Isabelle has found most of her friends are Slytherins. It seems they just understand her.
