Backstory
Well, uhm, when I received my Hogwarts Letter, I was, uhm, just confused, you know? Oh! I'm also a half-blood, but my wizard father (who was an auror) died when I was two.
So- uhm. Given that, I didn't really know much about the wizarding world. I guess Father didn't mention it much to Mother because she was just as confused as I am. Or maybe he did. Mother is rather forgetful of things but I still love her dearly.
Anyway, when we recieved that letter, Mother thought it was a joke. But somehow I felt it was, uhh, important. I was curious. So I always kept it nice and safe in my pocket.
One day when we went shopping in London, I noticed something strange. A sign that said "The Leaky Cauldron". I begged Mother to go in, as I felt, uhm, compelled to enter. The innkeeper was rather strange, but when I showed him the letter, he got a person to tell us how to get around this place and even drew out a map for us. The people were very kind... I hope I can see them again to thank them...
The best part of Diagon Alley was the Owl Emporium. I really liked cats but a passing old lady said that cats are "nice and all, but owls are useful for mail 'n stuff". So we got a sleek barn owl. I also.. may have read Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in one day...
I can't wait to explore this new world and learn so many things!
