It was a cold, lonely night and my parents were out, working for the ministry. I was just heating up popcorns to see a movie when suddenly, there was a ring from the doorbell. I quickly poured the popcorn in, while saying "Just a minute!". After pouring the popcorn in, I quickly dashed to the door. "Hello" I greeted while I opened the door. But there was no one there in front of the door. There was only a letter on the doorstep. I suddenly felt excited as I picked up the letter. It was the letter I have been waiting for all my life and it had my name on it. It was the letter from Hogwarts.

Today was different from the day I got my letter. Instead it was sunny and bright today, and it so happens to be the day I get on the train to go to hogwarts. I could barely contain my excitment yesterday while I was shopping at Diagon Alley. It didn't help that I got my first wand yesterday. I was really looking foward to learning spell and cool magic at hogwarts. Growing up, I saw my mom do cleaning spells often while I also saw my dad do the "Accio" spell in order to find his keys. So I was looking foward to do magic just like my mum and dad. As we reached the station, I started to re-read my instructions. "When reaching the station, go to platform 9¾ in order to ride the Hogwarts Express". Once we arrived, I opened the car door and quickly slammed it in order to run over to the station. "MAPLE WAIT!" My mum exclaimed. I just kept running until I see the platform. But to my disapointment there was no platform 9¾. I just kept staring at the sign until my parents came. My dad put his hand on my shoulder and grined. "Through here." he gestured toward a wall. I just tilted my head in confusion. 'What was happening?' Then my dad suddenly walked straight into a wall, followed by my mum. I just stared there with my mouth open and started walking towards the wall. It felt weird at first but now, after processing what happened, I just grined with excitment. The magical world always made me so happy. As I said my goodbyes to my mum and dad, I had already missed them. Because of that, I just said "Bye" and ran off to the train. The adventure began.
