My mum is French and my dad is Irish. They met at one of the World Cup games... Ireland won obviously so my dad had an extra boost of confidence and asked my mum to a drink, then 5 years later I was born! I grew up spending half of every year in Ireland and the other half in France. But I didn't let that stop me from making friends! Though my parents were constantly on my ass about not letting our little wizarding secret slip... It doesn't matter now that I'm in Hogwarts baby!
