Backstory

Thane Peridot Finswick was born in the dead of night on January 1st, amidst a tempest that raged over the village of Harrowfield. His birth was shrouded in an aura of foreboding, fitting for the life that awaited him under the hold of his parents, Reginald and Morgana Finswick. Known for their dark magic and insidious experiments, the Finswicks were feared and reviled in the magical community, their home a hub of shadowy rituals and sinister artifacts.

From an early age, Thane was indoctrinated into his parents’ dark pursuits, subjected to a harsh and oppressive environment designed to mold him into an instrument of their ambitions. Despite the grim surroundings, Thane exhibited an unusual aptitude for three specific areas of magic: Divination, Potions, and Herbology.

In Divination, Thane found an unexpected refuge. The mystical art of predicting the future offered him a rare solace from the cruelty of his upbringing.
