Backstory

A first-year who loves reading, drawing, piano, and the wizarding world!

I have always loved magic and daydreamed about it ever since I watched Disney princesses do magic on TV when I was a toddler. So, when I first received my Hogwarts letter, I was extremely perplexed. After all, living with a muggle family for my whole life and finding such a letter in the mail is just bizarre! My mom certainly thought it was nonsense, 'cause as soon as she finished reading the letter with a befuddled look on her face, she got ready to tear the letter apart and throw it away. But as it was the first time I ever received mail addressed to me, I snatched the letter from my mom's hands and took a closer look at the letter. It had to do with magic, which I really adored, so I immediately hoped all this ("jibberish", as my mom called it) would be true. Fast forward a few weeks on September the first, I stepped foot into the magical world and knew this is where I belong!
