clove kentwell was born in london, england to a pure-blood wizard father and a muggle mother. upon her birth, her father fled in order to hide his secret lover, and now child, from the rest of the wizarding world. clove lived a peaceful childhood with her mother in london until she began to show signs of magic. after accidentally willing a cup to fly across the room and onto one of her classmates at age 9, clove's mother decided it would be safer for clove to go live with her father and live a normal life where she wouldn't have to suppress her magical abilities. now fully assimilated into the wizarding world, clove leads a double life visiting her mother in the muggle world and keeping her ancestry a secret to protect her father's job at the ministry.
