Backstory

interests -

candles, guitar, a variety of music, books, writing, art, legos, plants, photography, and magical/non magical creatures.

about marigold -

marigold is a pureblood and comes from an all slytherin family, her being the only one in hufflepuff at the moment. he has a mother, father, and three younger brothers. their sibling's names are paris, harper, and vincent. mari loves her family, despite her anger toward them on occasions. nothing could pull any of them a part.

her patronus is a dolphin, and her wand is an 11" willow wood with a unicorn core and a slight yielding flexibility.

she enjoys pop, indie, punk-rock, and 40s to 90s music. in addition to that, very few country songs... she reads a variety of books, and is always open to discussions in regards to them. they are appreciative of any reccomendations! they collect little lego figurines they have seen in the stores, as well with candles. mari adores any form of art, and especially likes to create pieces himself, taking a liking to drawing traditionally often. you can also find him writing constantly. she is shy with her works, but if she trusts you enough, then you might get to see or hear a few. marigold adores foxes and bowtruckles, and is willing to chat about them whenever.

mari is not quite fond of dickheads. don't be rude to him, and she won't be rude to you. she can be very sarcastic, but will modify her use of sarcasm and humor with different people depending on what they're personally okay and not okay with. he respects your opinions and feelings, so if you ever do need to talk to mari about anything, please do. mind you, they cannot read minds, and will not know if something does bother you unless you bring it up. marigold is forever loyal to their friends and will be there for them whenever they can be. do not be afraid to ask to be friends! she is always happy to begin a friendship with you, but just do not bring drama into her life.

headcanons -

since mari was young, she has always adored magical creatures, and she aspires to one day be a magizoologist.

she loves to give and make his friends gifts.

they think of their friends as a second family. she may not say it often, but actions speak louder than words. mari trusts them with anything and everything. these people are a big part of his life, and she adores them all and cares about them so much.

when mari was younger, she got into the bad habit of picking at her cuticles out of anxiousness.

they suffer from self doubt often. choosing to deal with it alone and in silence, they don't open up about it to their friends. the only person who has known about these thoughts is her mother.

she tends to put others before herself, and her friends constantly have to sit her down and tell him that it is okay to focus on themself first.

• do not spam me. i take a while to respond, or often i do forget, so please remind me with just a simple ooc message.


• when i speak ooc, i will use "//" before my sentence. (ie: // hello!) however, let's please limit our use of ooc talking when the rp begins.


• we can discuss your limits and triggers before the rp. i personally do not have any triggers.


• do not get upset if i do decide to end our rp. more often than not, i do have a reason for doing so.


• please explain your character to me or have and explanation somewhere on your profile. i want to know about your character, and if you have any headcanons for yours, then let me know! :^)


• i like to build friendships with other characters slowly, so most likely our characters will not be friends immediately, but they can definitely be at some point.
