Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, I didn’t know what it would mean. At first I thought it was just a joke, magic doesn't really exist right? My brother sometimes was weirded out by me because I could bring things to me without him knowing where it came from. Anyway, my parents who were muggle born were going to go shopping in London and a ministry official spotted me near the Leaky Cauldron. He told my parents that I was magical and said that he would show me and my parents around Diagon Alley. The innkeeper was an odd but friendly man, and the ministry official showed us around and we got to the wall. Then the man tapped on the wall and the bricks moved out of the way like they were alive, my parents almost fainted and we saw the Diagon Alley for the first time. The coolest part of Diagon Alley was picking up Potion gear and getting my wand. When I got my potion gear I was ecstatic, I always loved playing video games that dealt with potions, especially ones where you could experiment with recipes and get a different result. Now when I got my wand Mr. Ollivander didn't seem to happy as he had to use a wand that wasn't one he had made. Usually Mr. Olliviander uses three different cores unicorn hair, dragon, heartstring, and unicorn tail hair. However, this one wasn't one he had made as this one had a thestral and a unicorn tail hair, the wood was elm wood, and was 14 and 1/2 inches, he did say something about the flexibility being hard.
